In line with our company Environmental Policy we are committed to conduct business in a manner that promotes health and safety of our employees and other relevant stakeholders and communities where we operate, as well as protect the global environment.

Environmental policy describes and mainly responsible for the introduction of the measures of the administration of company matters and its employees on health, safety and environmental protection and related matters. HSE policies cover vast informational articles governing all functional and operational processes in UGE that are consist and covering all Health, Safety and Environment related areas.

The vast topics covered and introduced to every single employee as a part of the mandatory induction procedure upon joining the company include Environmental Protection program, Compliance and AML regulations, Safety Management, compliance with Corporate Safety Standards, Confidentiality policies, Safety and Security policies, Pollution and Emission Control, Fire Protection policy, Emergency Situations policies, Healthcare regulations, Safety and Environmental awareness programs, Saving Energy policies and many others.

UGE implemented compliance and HSE internal training for all of their employees as well as diligently promotes Health, Safety and Environment related culture in the company.

If those unavoidable disasters do occur all UGE employees at relevant occupations gets a proper occupational training how to handle and avoid fire disasters, oil spills, effluent discharges, gas emissions and releases and able to respond swiftly, learn from each incident and improve the functionality of the operations for the future.

We meticulously aim to achieve our objective of zero incidents in the future in order to avoid any possible harm to people, or environment and avoid any possible emissions, spills, discharges, litigation and fatalities.
